Welcome to AIDRom Romania

AIDRom started its work as a collaboration between the Orthodox Church, Calvin Reformed Church and the Lutheran Church in Romania, the work being coordinated by the World Council of Churches. AIDRom Association appeared in response to the social needs at the moment of its establishment and as a reaction to the need for uniform coordination of actions of Churches regarding the people’s spiritual development, mutual support in carrying out activities and providing humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Throughout history, the Church in Romania has had a role in the formation of people’s personal, moral and spiritual development. This created a framework for the harmonization of human relations in the organization and the development of humanitarian and charity aid.
