Starts in the period: September 29, 2020 – December 31, 2022, the project: AIM 5 – Actions for the Integration of Migrants in Region 5.
The project is carried out on 3 stages of implementation:
Implementation period: 12 months (Year I)
12 months (Year II)
3 months (Year III)
The first stage of implementation takes place between: September 29, 2020 – September 25, 2021.
The project is funded by the European Union and the General Inspectorate for Immigration, through the National Program – Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund.
The main target group of the project is represented by beneficiaries of international protection (BP) and third-country nationals residing in Romania (based on a short-term or long-term residence permit / based on a passport, until the receipt of the residence permit ), which requires support for integration in Romania, as they are defined in national and European legislation.
General objective: The project aims to support the socio-economic and cultural integration of beneficiaries of international protection and third-country nationals in Romanian society in Region 5, through an integrated and complex approach – by providing the information and services they have need in one place and by strengthening the collaboration and active involvement of local authorities and the community in supporting migrants in the integration process.
Objective 1: Increase the level of social integration of BP and RTT in Region 5, through access to individualized and complex integration services.
Objective 2: Strengthen local inter-institutional support networks, community support, volunteer networks and representative members of foreign communities.
Objective 3: Development of the professional capacities of the actors involved in assisting the target group
