Environment and Sustainable Development Program (ESDP)

Main Purpose:

The main aim of the program is awareness raising in environmental protection issues by educational activities. Healthy environment is important for human kind. How all of us should act for a clean environment, what are the threats, how individually or in community we should contribute to preserve the nature and environment? These are important questions. AIDRom, by its projects try to answer to these questions.

Greenhouse gases resulted from human activities threat the planet and humankind by Climate change phenomena. First of all we have to know how greenhouse gases are generated by us. How these gases produce global warming? How we should mitigate the emissions of CO2?

Objectives

The general objectives of ESDP were related to the mandates and the programs were approved by the General Assembly of AIDRom. ESDP has two subprograms:

A. Environmental Education,

B. Climate change.
