TRAINING FOR TRANSFORMATION – LONGLIFE ADULT PROFESSIONAL FORMATION PROGRAM

After Romania becoming EU member Churches and the society are facing new challenges. First of all there is need for capacity building for churches and church-related organizations in order to access European Funds [Structural and Cohesion Funds, Social European Fund, etc.] and have an active participation with other types of instruments to efforts of renewing Romanian society.

Therefore, in a specific way AIDRom is acting for:

• Improving Churches Cooperation with Civil Society and Authorities and the capacity of both to work together in the field of  Strategic Planning
• Increase the operative capacity of Church personnel in the filed of Project Management, Formation
• Establishing of Church think-tanks for rural and urban development in order to provide the technical know-how and the needed expertise for becoming operational at the level of parishes
• Support the Churches in being active in preventing Racism, promote Religious Freedom in public space, progress in defending Human Rights, Minorities and vulnerable groups.
• Increased awareness on Human Rights and development of human resources in Human Rights Issues
• Build the capacity to raise funds for social projects
• Organizational Strengthening of Diaconia Units and related church NGOs
• Providing documentation for professional education in fields of concern
